"I teach anthropology in a practical way so that you can apply its lessons to conflict in your life. In other words, I offer a key that can open a stubbornly stuck door. Anthropology is the key based in a century-plus of scientific data and human insight. The conflict you have with other people and yourself is the stuck door that prevents you from reaching a life goal. With anthropology wisdom, you can discover and master your potential."- Professor Burlingame
Professor Burlingame translates the wisdom of anthropology into practical knowledge and actionable steps anyone can use to meet personal, professional and intellectual challenges. Think of her as the anthropology college professor version of the teachers in To Sir, With Love and Dead Poets Society -- she teaches life lessons, intellectual skills and relationship skills through the wisdom of anthropology.
The Professor has a master's degree in anthropology and more than a decade of experience teaching thousands of students in universities and in her private education business. Her passion is to teach anthropology as a vehicle to help people better understand humanity, so that they can then better understand themselves and the path they need to take to achieve a life goal.
Working with Professor Burlingame, privately or in small groups, is an opportunity to explore, learn and grow through experiential learning techniques that emphasize laughter, communication and hands-on activities. She is an innovative and inspirational life and academic skills educator.
